In order to promote healthy and orderly development of foreign exchange and cooperation,and further improve the level.On February 28,Tan Weihong,director of office of international exchange&cooperation,led team to the Faculty of Engineering for research and guide the work.Some party and government leadership and teachers attended the meeting.

At the meeting,Tan Weihong said that SCNU pays great attengtion to international exchange and cooperation and regards it as an important point to promote the effectiveness of discipline construction and quality of talent training.The university has strengthened the top-level design and division of labor and cooperation,and committed to building “big foreign affairs” work pattern,revised foreign-related systems,and standardized discipline.In 2023,it will follow international development thought of “integrating into the Bay Area and southeast Asia, exploring the Belt and Road Initiative,toward the world”,and adopt an internationalization strategy of stratification, classification, emphasis on key points and multi-point promotion.By reducing the number and improving the quality of cooperation partners,conducting international exchanges for students,deeply integrating into the Bay Area education,exploring the Belt and Road Initiative,organizing cultural exchanges and optimizing foreign-related management and services,we will open up new area and tracks for cooperation,and create new drivers and advantages for international exchanges.The Office of international Exchange&Cooperation will actively carry out a series of research work to build a platform for teachers and students to expand their international vision.

Then,teachers exchanged views on the current situation and existing problems of foreign exchange and cooperation,and the Office of international Exchange&Cooperation answered them.

Wu Lan,on the behalf of the Faculty of Engineering,expressed warm greetings and grateful thanks to the Office of international Exchange&Cooperation’s visit,and said that the Faculty of Engineering closely follow the guidelines and policies of SCNU,and introduce overseas talents,committed to creating “international,new engineering”.The Faculty of Engineering hope to join hands with the Office of international Exchange&Cooperation,promote the innovative and integrated development of multi-disciplines,multi-fields and multi-modes,adhere to foreign exchanges and cooperation in-depth,promote high-quality development,and contribute to the international construction of SCNU.
