Recently, Stanford University in the United States and the authoritative academic publisher Elsevier jointly released the list of the top 2% of the worlds top scientists in 2025 (World's Top 2% Scientists). Professor Zhang Han of our college was selected into the list of the top 2 of the "Lifetime Scientific Influence Ranking", and six scholars, including Zhang Han, Huo Nengjie, Chen Fuming, Hou Xianhua, Yin Ming, and Chen Hongyu, were selected into the "Annual Scientific Influence Ranking" list. The selection of the six scholars this time not only demonstrates the profound background and influence of our college teachers in the academic field, but is also an important reflection of the teaching and scientific research level of our college.

The 2025 edition of the world's top 2% scientists across all disciplines is based on comprehensive parameters such as the number of citations scholars' papers, H-index, modified Hm-index considering co-authors, and the number of citations of articles written by individuals or as first authors. The list has the top 2% of scientists from nearly 7 million scientists worldwide, covering 22 major fields and 174 sub-fields. Among them, the "Lif Scientific Impact" list compiles the comprehensive performance of scientists throughout their careers, while the "Annual Scientific Impact" list focuses on the academic influence of the previous year.
